Job summary

Walmart seeks a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance across a regional footprint. You will lead technicians, ensuring buildings operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably for associates and customers.

The role requires 50%+ regional travel, collaboration with Store Managers and leadership, and oversight of vendor partners. Training on regulatory requirements and site inspections are part of the scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• Or 5 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• Must possess relevant certifications including EPA Universal Certification and Mechanical Contractor license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of Walmart facilities within a regional area.
• Lead a team of technicians and coordinate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership.
• Work with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Engage in reporting and analytics to track performance and compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in training programs for regulatory requirements and conduct site inspections for quality control.
• Obtain and schedule inspections and permits per mechanical or building codes.
