Job summary

Walmart is recruiting a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance for facilities in the region. You will lead a team of technicians to ensure safe, efficient operations and environmental sustainability.

You will work with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership, and external vendors to meet service needs, maintain licenses, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through training and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area; or 5 years’ equivalent experience.
• Experience in general facilities maintenance and supervising associates is preferred.
• Licenses, registrations, and certifications must be current and maintained as required by state authorities.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the region of 50% or more.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate work with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Handle reporting and analytics for facilities operations.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and ensure compliance with authorities.
• Participate in regulatory training and site inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
• Obtain and schedule inspections and permits as required by building codes.
