Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead a regional team, oversee predictive and preventative maintenance, and ensure efficient, compliant building operations.

The role requires 50%+ travel, collaboration with store managers and leadership, and coordination with vendors. A bachelor’s in engineering/architecture/construction management or 3–5 years of related experience is required, plus licenses and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, or related area.
• Or 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, or related area.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating with vendors/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Travel approximately 50% or more within the region.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Provide reporting and analytics on operations.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses with authorities.
• Participate in training on regulatory requirements and conduct site inspections.
• Obtain and schedule inspections and permits as required by codes.
