Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Large Format Sales District Leader to guide a 12-18 person team of sales reps and merchandisers. You will drive marketplace execution, build customer relationships, and manage priorities to positively impact the business.

The role requires leadership experience in CPG/DSD, a flexible schedule, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel and lifting requirements apply as part of frontline duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing frontline employees or demonstrated leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in consumer packaged goods in a direct-store-delivery environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Manage, motivate and develop a team of frontline sales representatives to increase daily productivity and improve performance.
• Coach and lead a team of full-time merchandisers on selling and display execution, merchandising standards, and ensure orders are submitted.
• Assign merchandisers to large format accounts and adjust store coverage as needed.
• Conduct route rides to develop selling and customer service skills.
• Work with customers to understand business needs and build relationships.
• Maintain process improvement to enhance PepsiCo’s selling and delivery model.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure orders are submitted, delivered and merchandised according to plan.
• Activate local and national marketplace promotions to build brand development and performance.
• Set productivity and service targets and allocate resources between accounts.
• Oversee Merchandising function and coverage in designated territories.
