Job summary

Gordian is seeking an Account Manager to deliver training and support for Job Order Contracting (JOC) products and services to clients in a defined geographic area. The role emphasizes professionalism, construction knowledge, and results-oriented service.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in construction management or related fields, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel 50-70% within the Baton Rouge area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of construction project management, procurement or related experience in facilities/road construction.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial public construction operations, pricing and contracting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and multi-project management skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain schedules of detailed activities to accomplish procurement objectives within a specified time period for clients.
• Implement and adhere to project procedures from identification to notice to proceed and construction execution for Job Orders.
• Read and understand construction plans and specifications; review price proposals and construct detailed line item proposals.
• Train contractors in Gordian software and client procedures, and assist in client contract bidding.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
