Job summary

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP seeks an experienced Sr. IS Technician to deliver excellent customer support in the local office environment and to maintain Weil office systems and applications. Occasional travel to other Weil offices is expected to support teammates and clients.

The role requires 2+ years in a fast-paced professional services setting and strong knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, VPN, and device management. A BA/BS or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience within a fast-paced, high-pressure professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11 & Office 365 Suite, Document Management, Web Apps, VPN, Smartphones and Mobile Device Management.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP Networks and network security.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints and respond with the appropriate level of urgency.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in person and meetings, in writing, and via telephone to provide information and support with courtesy and tact.
• Ability to follow instructions and use judgement to ask for clarification and/or help, when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st & 2nd level customer support for all IS issues, using the IMS to record, assign & resolve issues.
• Record all changes to hardware assets in the AMS.
• Configure, test, deploy and support Windows, Mac & VM computers, smartphones, printers, telecom & AV equipment.
• Provide setup and support for A/V issues, including meetings and presentations.
• Provide IS orientation and training for new hires.
• Travel occasionally to other Weil offices for support.
