Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an IT Support Engineer II for Ops Tech Solutions to support, build, implement, and improve technology across sites in a defined geographical area. You’ll manage large regional projects, resolve crises, and expand knowledge in AWS and distributed systems.

Role includes hands-on troubleshooting, collaboration with internal teams, and driving continuous improvement. Travel within the local region is required; expect long shifts and active customer support across multiple

Qualifications

• 4+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI, TCP/IP).
• 3+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM.
• 4+ years of technical support experience.
• 4+ years of corporate IT support (Windows, Mac or Linux).
• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot difficult IT problems without SOPs.
• Plan and coordinate CM templates and configurations.
• Collaborate with internal teams or vendors to execute projects.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Audit the quality of work and provide feedback when necessary.
• Automate manual tasks and create small tools to improve efficiency.
• Serve as the first point of escalation.
• Participate in hiring, training, and development of others.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during 12-hour shifts.
• Support customers across multiple buildings in the area and remote locations.
• Travel within local or regional area to support customers.
