Job summary

RE Michel Company, LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to cover the CA/NV region, report to the Director of Sales, and lead outside sales reps and branch staff to expand sales of HVACR products and services.

The role requires extensive travel, strong leadership, and the ability to develop and execute regional sales plans while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time exempt position with significant field activity across the CA/NV territory.

Qualifications

• Extensive travel across CA/NV region.
• Ability to develop and implement sales plans and budgets.
• Strong knowledge of pricing, GP and P&Ls.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional outside sales team and branch staff to grow revenue and profitability.
• Recruit, hire and train sales personnel; set performance standards and sales territories.
• Develop and implement annual sales plan with forecasts aligned to marketing goals.
• Coach field personnel on account analysis, territory management, and closing techniques.
• Spend at least 60% of time in the field traveling with reps and visiting customers.
• Conduct bi-annual account reviews with sales reps and branch managers.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and respond quickly to pricing requests.
• Provide leadership to ensure high customer service and ESP program success.
• Deliver weekly activity recaps to executive team via ERP.
