Job summary

R.E. Michel Company, LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives across CA/NV.

This full-time exempt role reports to the Director of Sales and will recruit, train, and coach a field sales team, develop territory plans, and manage pricing and profitability while collaborating with leadership to reach regional targets. This position requires extensive travel to branches and key accounts, with a strong emphasis on a proactive, customer-driven approach and data-based

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and high school education.
• Understanding of pricing, GP, and P&Ls.
• Extensive knowledge of HVACR products.
• Ability to assist customers and internal sales with equipment matchups and job estimates.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train sales personnel; establish performance standards and territories.
• Develop and implement a sales plan including budgeting and forecasts.
• Coach field sales personnel in account analysis, time/territory management, and selling tools.
• Spend at least 60% of time in sales activities in the field.
• Conduct bi-annual account reviews with reps and branch managers.
• Coordinate with Regional Branch manager to achieve regional goals.
• Provide pricing information to Pricing Administrator and Directors on a regular basis.
• Lead and motivate a professional sales team and drive profitability.
• Call on ESP accounts at least twice a year and promote ESP programs.
