Job summary

R.E. Michel Company, LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee CA/NV region. The role collaborates with Directors of Sales and branch managers to drive sales, meet net and gross profit targets, and lead a high-performing sales team.

Candidate will spend significant time in the field coaching reps, reviewing accounts, and aligning sales plans with marketing goals. Central location within Region 18/21 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and pricing knowledge relevant to GP and P&L.
• Understanding level pricing, GP, and P&L statements.
• Extensive HVACR product knowledge including parts, equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring and training sales personnel and establishing performance standards.
• Develop and implement a sales plan with budgeting and forecasts.
• Assist personnel in achieving sales and gross profit goals and monitor progress.
• Coach field sales staff in account analysis, time/territory management, targeting, and prospecting.
• Spend at least 60% of workweek in field sales activities.
• Conduct bi-annual account reviews with sales reps and branch managers.
