Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead regional sales performance and launch excellence for hospital and large group practice accounts.

You will coach Account Managers to execute regional business plans, drive demand, and ensure compliant achievement of sales goals. You will partner with cross-functional teams and translate national strategy into regional execution, monitoring market dynamics, providing insights, and guiding resource allocation for optimal results.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or related medical sales.
• Minimum 2 years of district/regional field management experience.
• Experience leading teams in hospitals, health systems or large practice groups.
• Strong understanding of hospital decision-making, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and manage Account Managers to build regional team.
• Lead regional launch execution to drive awareness and demand for the launch product.
• Develop and execute regional business plans prioritizing key accounts and market opportunities.
• Provide leadership to meet and exceed sales targets compliantly.
• Execute marketing plan with regional team to maximize market penetration.
• Monitor local market conditions and adapt strategies; build customer relationships.
