Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a high-performing field team and drive the launch of a rare disease product. You will craft regional plans, recruit and develop talent, and build strategic relationships with hospitals, payers and clinical stakeholders.

The role demands extensive experience in life sciences, oncology or specialty therapeutics, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration to achieve aggressive commercial goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Life Sciences with proven sales success.
• 4+ years first-line sales leadership; 2+ years hospital/IDN navigation.
• Launch leadership in rare disease, oncology, immunology or specialty markets.
• Strong oncology/specialty therapeutics background with stakeholder engagement.
• Deep understanding of formulary, P&T processes and institutional market access.
• Experience leading cross-functional launch readiness with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, coach and retain a high-performing regional sales team.
• Develop and execute regional business plans and launch strategies.
• Build relationships with KOLs and hospital influencers including executives.
• Develop and present clinical, pharmacoeconomic and business materials.
• Analyze regional performance and adjust strategies to maximize results.
• Lead patient pull-through initiatives for access and initiation.
