Job summary

Arnold & Porter is seeking a Regional Business Development & Marketing Manager to lead initiatives across California and drive firmwide growth in the Technology & Media Industry Group, Technology Transactions, and Telecommunications.

The role is based in San Francisco and requires collaboration with California leadership and attorneys to develop market plans, grow client relationships, and deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a bachelor's degree and minimum six years of marketing and business development experience.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing and business development initiatives for California and firmwide growth in targeted industry groups.
• Develop pitches, proposals, and responses to RFPs tailored to client opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership to elevate the firm’s profile and generate new business.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and evaluate ROI for the assigned groups.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate with Events Team for client events.
