Job summary

Richelieu is seeking a General Manager to take full operational responsibility for the US region, including Boston, MA, Portland, ME, and surrounding areas. The role leads sales, warehouse operations and customer service, reporting to branch and sales managers as appropriate.

You will drive regional growth, coach managers, manage P&L, and ensure efficient logistics while upholding Richelieu's core values and customer focus. This is a senior leadership position with a broad regional mandate.

Qualifications

• Related experience in industrial or building materials distribution with leadership of sales and operations.
• Commercial or sales-driven mindset with leadership in sales.
• Deep knowledge of branch office operations including P&L responsibility.
• Empathetic leader able to develop team members and guide growth.
• Excellent communication with internal teams, suppliers and customers.
• KPI-focused, well organized with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional sales growth through existing accounts and new business.
• Own strategic growth of customer accounts and lead managers.
• Support Branch Managers and optimize order fulfillment, shipping and receiving.
• Maintain accountability for complete P&L and region performance.
• Ensure effective cross-functional communication across departments.
• Oversee logistics compliance with EH&S and regulations.
• Guide recruitment and training to achieve company goals.
• Develop and execute process improvements for efficiency.
• Monitor daily KPI's for sales and operations performance.
• Foster a positive culture by leading from the front.
