Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Field Services Area Manager for the Tacoma/Seattle region, with hybrid duties and Alaska market travel. You will lead Best Buy and Geek Squad staff, coordinate with third-party teams, and drive customer-centric service in-home installations and deliveries.

Youll spend half the time in the field with agents and half working remotely, ensuring strong employee culture and performance across regions while maintaining safety and scheduling discipline.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a supervisor or manager.
• 2 years of sales, installation, logistics, operations, warehouse or customer service experience.
• Ability to travel overnight approximately 25% of the year.
• Current, valid driver's license and driving record meeting safety standards.
• Acquire and maintain any state/local licensing within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational consistency, strategic alignment and performance accountability.
• Build and maintain a strong team culture focused on engagement and belonging.
• Oversee headcount planning, hiring plans and capacity management including scheduling and PTO approvals.
• Analyze reporting to understand business trends and develop action plans.
• Set clear expectations and provide regular 1-on-1 coaching on site.
• Respond promptly to escalations and preserve the customer experience.
