Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Field Services Area Manager for the Tacoma/Seattle region, with hybrid duties and Alaska market travel. You will lead Best Buy and Geek Squad staff, coordinate with third-party teams, and drive customer-centric service in-home installations and deliveries.

Youll spend half the time in the field with agents and half working remotely, ensuring strong employee culture and performance across regions while maintaining safety and scheduling discipline.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a supervisor or manager.
• 2 years of sales, installation, logistics, operations, warehouse or customer service experience.
• Ability to travel overnight approximately 25% of the year.
• Current, valid driver's license and driving record meeting safety standards.
• Acquire and maintain any state/local licensing within 90 days of hire.

Job Description

As a Field Services Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for all store-based installation and delivery services in your designated region. You’ll directly lead Best Buy and Geek Squad employees while managing relationships with a network of third‑party teams that fulfill work in the home. You’ll build a strong employee culture that leads to favorable customer and business results.

This is a hybrid role supporting the Tacoma and Seattle, Washington areas, as well as markets in Alaska. The Field Services Area Manager will spend approximately half of their workweek in the field with delivery and installation agents and the other half working remotely.

Candidates should live in or near the Tacoma or Seattle area and be able to travel quarterly to the Alaska markets supported by this role.

What you’ll do

Requirements

• Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)
• Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hire
