Best Buy seeks a Field Services Area Manager to lead store-based installation and delivery services across designated regions, including Tacoma, Seattle, and Alaska markets. You will manage Best Buy and Geek Squad staff plus third-party partners, shaping culture and customer outcomes through hands-on leadership and field presence.

The role is hybrid, with about half the time in the field and half remote; travel quarterly to Alaska markets is required. Located near Tacoma or Seattle preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

As a Field Services Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for all store-based installation and delivery services in your designated region. You’ll directly lead Best Buy and Geek Squad employees while managing relationships with a network of third-party teams that fulfill work in the home. You’ll build a strong employee culture that leads to favorable customer and business results.

This is a hybrid role supporting the Tacoma and Seattle, Washington areas, as well as markets in Alaska. The Field Services Area Manager will spend approximately half of their workweek in the field with delivery and installation agents and the other half working remotely. Candidates should live in or near the Tacoma or Seattle area and be able to travel quarterly to the Alaska markets supported by this role.

What You’ll Do

Basic Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a supervisor or manager
• 2 years of sales, installation, logistics, operations, warehouse, inventory or customer service experience
• Ability to travel overnight approximately 25% of the year
• Current, valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g. minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)
• Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Consumer electronics delivery, repair or installation experience
• Experience in delivery, transportation, distribution or logistics
• Experience with warehouse management systems
• Experience managing a remote workforce
• Associate degree or higher in business, logistics or related fields
