Veolia LabWater Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair laboratory water purification systems across the Northeast region, with primary coverage in Boston and nearby states. You will work remotely, travel extensively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of two years of field service experience installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers at all levels.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively in the assigned territory, including overnight travel.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, configure, and validate laboratory water purification systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and software updates.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures at customer sites.
• Replace defective components and restore equipment to factory specs.
• Complete service reports, calibration documentation, and administration paperwork accurately.
• Generate quotations for billable repairs, PMs, validations, and upgrades.
• Proactively manage PMA opportunities with Sales and Customer Service.
• Train customers on system operation and maintenance practices.
• Respond to emergency service requests promptly with professional communication.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and vehicle in service-ready condition.
• Ensure safety policies in lab, pharma, healthcare, industrial, and research environments.
• Collaborate with Technical Support and engineering to resolve issues and suggest improvements.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.
