Job summary

EMP is seeking an experienced Regional Service Project Manager to serve as the primary technical service liaison for customers in the region. This role blends hands-on troubleshooting with structured project management to drive complex issues to resolution.

The position owns service-readiness for engineering changes and new product releases, leads cross-functional process improvements, and maintains service documentation for audit-ready delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5–7 years of field service or technical support experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary information source and technical assistant for customers in the region.
• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting; define problems, coordinate resources, track corrective actions, communicate status, and close issues.
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA processes (5-Why or 8D), implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Escalate cross-functional issues to engineering, quality, manufacturing and supply chain while owning the issue to resolution.
• Manage service projects: define scope, schedules, resources, training, risks, field execution, and project closure.
• Track service metrics and maintain records for audit readiness; prepare field reports with customer-focused insights.
• Oversee training for installation and maintenance; manage service content and digital channels.
