Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Regional Engineering Supervisor to support the Senior Engineering Manager in managing the Engineering Studies and Protection and Controls businesses, report for execution, and lead all efforts associated with maintaining and growing the business units.

This role leads engineers, collaborates with Service Center Managers and Sales to grow pipeline, forecast accurately, review backlog, and mentor staff while coordinating with the Manila team and COE Admin to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Technical Degree and/or equivalent industry experience required.
• 10 years of Vertiv Product knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Technical leadership and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineers focused on professional engineering services such as studies and protection and controls.
• Work closely with Service Center Managers and Sales to drive pipeline growth, execute orders to generate sales and provide accurate forecasting.
• Lead backlog reviews and hold applicable parties accountable for closure.
• Assist Sales with customer meetings or communicating vital changes to project schedule.
• Assist in project scope reviews and provide feedback for pricing.
• Mentor team members and provide learning opportunities.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding financials, project status and regional needs.
• Ensure the team is properly trained and has the tools to be successful.
• Review costs and margin slippage to reduce costs.
• Monitor utilization and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with the Manila Team for project execution or related tasks.
• Coordinate with COE Admin and Service Center Managers to open, assign, and invoice jobs timely.
• Serve as primary point of contact for Engineering COE issues.
• Perform Engineering study analysis and protection and controls work as needed.
• Perform other duties as business needs change.
