Job summary

The Standard seeks a Regional Client Manager on the Employee Benefits team to support employer groups of 100 to 499 lives and educate them on LOA, FMLA, STD, LTD, Life, and voluntary products. You will negotiate, cultivate strong relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and brokers in the Southern CA/NV area.

You will coordinate enrollment activities, manage renewals, promote plan improvements, and collaborate with Sales Reps, Brokers, Producers, Employer Groups, Policyholders,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive work experience in employee benefits, client management, or sales support in the employee benefits insurance industry.
• Professional certification required: Life and Disability insurance license for resident state within assigned hub.
• Travel IS Required: % based on role, assigned caseload and territory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for Client Management issues for your assigned book of business
• Manage new case submissions, renewal activity, and amendments.
• Identify and promote the sale of additional lines of coverage or plan improvements.
• Participate in in-person client and broker meetings.
• Promote new product offerings and enhanced product features.
• Recommend plan changes as appropriate.
• Facilitate the enrollment and re-enrollment process; conducting enrollment meetings or being present as benefit fairs, as needed.
• Highlight the advantages of doing business with The Standard in coordination with the assigned Sales Representative.
• In addition to servicing accounts, your ability to cultivate meaningful, effective relationships will be vital as you collaborate with internal and external customers to provide the best possible outcome for all parties involved.
