Job summary

QXO is seeking a Regional Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead field safety across multiple branches. You will drive proactive risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and a culture of learning, partnering with operations and centralized EHS resources to prevent serious incidents.

Role requires a Bachelor's degree in safety/engineering/environmental science and 5+ years of multi-site EHS leadership, with strong OSHA/DOT/FMCSA knowledge and travel willingness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental sciences, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in multi-site distribution/warehousing/transportation environments.
• Experience implementing system-based safety programs beyond basic compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA requirements.
• Experience with incident investigations, risk assessments, and leading-indicator-based performance management.

Responsibilities

• Drive risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and cultural transformation across assigned branches and transportation operations.
• Partner with operations leadership, transportation teams, and centralized EHS resources to anticipate risk and strengthen systems.
• Lead learning-based reviews for pSIFs and SIFs, focusing on systemic improvements rather than individual blame.
