Job summary

QXO is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead Environmental Health & Safety initiatives across our Southeast Region, including TX, LA, OK, TN, AL, MS, and AR. The role combines strategic safety program development with hands-on leadership.

Travel ~50% and collaborate with operations to prevent incidents, meet OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements, and deliver training. A CSP/ASP/CHST or equivalent plus 5+ years of safety leadership in manufacturing or distribution is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, distribution, warehousing, or other general industry environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Experience conducting audits, investigations, and developing corrective action plans.
• Ability to influence organizational change and build partnerships across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Regional EHS programs across the Southeast Region, fostering a proactive safety culture.
• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and standards regionally.
• Train field and facility employees and provide ongoing coaching to managers.
• Conduct facility and field EHS audits and lead corrective actions.
• Manage OSHA investigations, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Analyze safety metrics and drive targeted improvement initiatives.
