Job summary

QXO seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead on-site safety and environmental programs in a manufacturing setting. You will partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, HR and frontline workers to embed risk management into daily decisions.

The role emphasizes preventing injuries, strengthening compliance, and driving reliable operations through HOP principles and practical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Five+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 1910 and machine safeguarding.
• Experience building EHS systems and partnering with operations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site EHS leadership for a complex manufacturing operation.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and HR to integrate risk management.
• Develop and implement LOTO, machine guarding, and energy-control programs.
• Oversee environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coach leaders and facilitate learning teams.
