Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. (ESI) seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Lead to advance a proactive safety culture across biogas sites.

Lead coaching of Operations Leads and Supervisors to implement health and safety processes within our OHSMS, reporting to the EHS Manager, and driving continuous improvement. The role requires travel up to 30%, collaboration with the Operations Team, and responsibility for site-specific safety plans, drills, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable experience in EHS or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems and present findings clearly.
• Ability to organize and execute projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and facilitator of our OHSMS and Safe System of Work.
• Conduct site visits to coach workers on new safety processes and sustain execution.
• Conduct learning-style audits and facilitate the completion of findings.
• Participate in our Safety Committee and conduct onsite safety training.
• Develop site-specific safety plans and emergency action plans.
• Conduct and evaluate site drills for crisis and emergency response scenarios.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Assist sites with PPE procurement and training.
