Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. ® (ESI) is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Lead to advance a proactive safety culture across biogas sites and projects.

You will coach operations leaders on implementing and verifying OHSMS processes and lead safety initiatives in collaboration with the EHS Manager. Independent work style, strong communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable EH&S experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or STEM (may be substituted by applicable work experience).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and safety software tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for site support.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and facilitator of the OHSMS and Safe System of Work.
• Coach workers on new safety processes and sustain execution at sites.
• Conduct learning-style audits and facilitate findings.
• Participate in the company-wide Safety Committee.
• Conduct onsite safety training and develop site safety plans.
• Prepare and evaluate drills for crisis and emergency scenarios.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with PPE procurement and training.
• Investigate incidents and document corrective actions.
• Support development and implementation of new EHS programs.
