Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, seeks an Area Driver Trainer in the Oklahoma City region. You will lead driver safety training, onboard 75–100 drivers, and ensure standardized quality by coaching local trainers and conducting certifications.

You will collaborate with safety leadership on investigations, enforce DOT compliance, and drive continual improvement while roughly 70% travel within your region. A CDL with Hazmat and a safety background are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSR and DOT CSA scoring is essential.
• Experience in safety training and driver coaching is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding for 75–100 drivers and audit local trainers.
• Lead the rollout of Driver Training Curriculum and Safety Manual regionally.
• Coach drivers on safety standards and hands-on operational skills.
• Manage final field check-rides and certifications; provide retraining as needed.
• Partner with Area Safety Managers on incident investigations and DOT compliance.
