Airgas, Inc. is seeking an Area Driver Trainer to champion driver safety, onboarding quality, and field readiness across the region. You will lead governance, mentor trainers, and oversee driver certifications while partnering with safety leaders on incidents.

The role requires CDL A with Hazmat, DOT Medical Card, 5 years' experience preferred, and willingness to travel ~70% within the region; relocation to OKC or Wichita KS may be needed.

Formación

• Licensure: Class A CDL, Hazmat endorsement, DOT Medical Card, LPG trainer endorsement (KS/AR/MO).
• Preferred 5 years of experience in relevant roles.
• Education in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 2+ years CMV management and 3+ years risk management experience.
• Expertise in FMCSR (Title 49) and DOT CSA scoring; SDS reading ability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Regional Training & Governance across 75-100 drivers onboarding curriculum.
• Direct rollout of Driver Training Curriculum and Safety Manual; manage local Trainer staff.
• Coach on core safety standards (Smith System, G.O.A.L., backing, speed limits).
• Lead final field check-rides; manage certifications and retraining; support retention.
• Partner on incident investigations; assist with DOT roadside inspection prep.
