Job summary

Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC seeks a Driller for regional operations. The Driller will monitor well conditions, operate and supervise rigs, and delegate tasks to Derrickhand, Motorhand, and Floorhands to optimize drilling activities.

The role requires clear English communication, safe work practices, and strong leadership to ensure rig safety and efficiency on a rotational schedule. Candidates should be capable of heavy industrial work outdoors under varied conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Six months of experience as a Driller on a drilling rig.
• Experience with Amphion and Omron dual joystick rigs.
• Willing to travel to remote locations on a 14 on/14 off rotation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct rig crew and third parties.
• Oversee drilling activities and monitor rig employees and third parties.
• Maintain daily logs and Tour Sheets.
• Communicate with Rig Manager and Directional Driller as needed.
• Ensure regular maintenance of equipment and safety procedures.
