Job summary

Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC is seeking a Derrickhand/Motorhand to operate and tend drilling mud systems, assist with rig up/down, and support field crews on a 14on/14off rotation. The role requires physical endurance, safety discipline, and clear English communication in a heavy industrial environment.

Candidates should have at least 6 months as a Derrickhand, 12 months of related work history, and be willing to work at heights with PPE.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience as a Derrickhand on a drilling rig
• Twelve (12) months of stable related work history
• Must be comfortable working at heights (50ft. or greater)

Responsibilities

• Stand or stand and walk for extended shifts in boots
• Maintain and inspect mud systems and rig equipment
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Assist with rig up/down procedures
• Communicate clearly in English with crew
• Travel on 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule
