Job summary

Patterson-UTI is seeking a Motorhand to help operate and maintain equipment on our drilling rig. You will be responsible for generators, power systems, and assisting in rig up/down, with daily maintenance, inspections, and safer operations on site.

The role requires the ability to lift and move heavy materials, follow safety procedures, and train Floorhands while coordinating with Derrickhand and Driller in day-to-day operations; travel and 14/14 rotation is possible depending on location.

Qualifications

• Provide instructions, train, and oversee Floorhands during drilling activities.
• Conduct daily maintenance and inspections on generators, equipment, and power systems.
• Commitment to safety, PPE usage, and adherence to log sheets and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain drilling rig equipment and generators.
• Assist in rig up and rig down, and off-load materials.
• Inspect engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic components for proper operation.
• Train and supervise Floorhands and coordinate with Derrickhand and Driller.
