Job summary

Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC is hiring a Driller for regional assignments. The Driller will monitor well conditions, operate the drilling rig, supervise crew, and communicate with customers and Directional Driller.

The role demands strict safety adherence and the ability to delegate tasks across Derrickhand, Motorhand, and Floorhands. The position is hourly with a starting wage of $40.00 per hour and eligible for per diem, reflecting field operations across regional locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months experience as a Derrickhand.
• Well Control certification required.

Responsibilities

• Stand or sit at the Driller's console for long periods with limited breaks.
• Supervise rig crew and delegate tasks to Derrickhand, Motorhand, and Floorhands.
• Monitor well conditions, drilling parameters, and safety procedures.
• Communicate with Rig Manager, Company Man, and Directional Driller as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and Tour Sheets; oversee rig operations and housekeeping.
