Job summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking a District Manager for the Advanced Wound Management team in Austin, TX. You will lead a team of account managers selling a biologic wound care portfolio in acute and nursing home settings.

You will influence and coach your team, drive territory coverage, and allocate sales resources. Travel is required to support field activities and develop leadership within the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years medical sales managerial experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years medical sales experience with a demonstrated success in complex sales.
• Proven ability to present key concepts and recommendations to customers.
• Previous experience as a sales trainer preferred.
• Travel: Regular weekly overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of account managers selling the biologic wound care portfolio in acute and nursing home settings.
• Ensure proper territory coverage, account penetration and sales time allocation.
• Provide resources and mentorship to overcome field obstacles and improve performance.
• Develop leadership opportunities for high-potential team members with AVP
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the team.
