Job summary
Smith+Nephew’s Life Unlimited division seeks a District Manager on the Advanced Wound Management team to lead a field-based team of account managers selling the biologic product portfolio in acute and nursing home settings. You will drive territory coverage, coach sales skills, and partner with AVP for development opportunities while advancing performance across a competitive wound care market.
This role requires regular weekly overnight travel with base pay in the range of $110,000–$155,000 USD
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years medical sales managerial experience.
- Minimum of 5 years medical sales and demonstrated success with complex sales process.
- Proven ability to present key concepts and recommendations to customers in formal and informal settings.
- Travel: Regular weekly overnight travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of account managers selling biologic products in acute and nursing home settings.
- Foster a collaborative team environment with AWM support teams.
- Ensure proper territory coverage and sales time allocation.
- Coach team on sales skills through weekly field rides.
- Identify leadership opportunities and develop top performers with AVP.
- Address opportunities for performance improvement.
