Job summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking a District Manager for Advanced Wound Management in New York. You will lead a team of account managers selling the biologic wound care portfolio in acute and nursing home settings, driving account coverage and sales performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of medical sales experience, and 3+ years in sales management. Travel is regular, with coaching and mentorship to develop leadership within the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
3+ years of medical sales managerial experience.
Minimum of 5 years medical sales with a track record in complex sales.
Proven ability to present key concepts to customers in various settings.
Sales trainer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of account managers selling the biologic wound care portfolio in acute and nursing home settings.
Foster collaboration across team members and support teams.
Ensure territory coverage, penetration, and efficient time allocation for Account Managers.
Coach team members on sales skills through weekly field rides and mentorship.
Identify leaders and develop opportunities with AVP for performance improvement.
