Job summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking a District Manager on the Advanced Wound Management team to lead a group of account managers selling the biologic portfolio in acute and nursing home settings.

You will coach teams, optimize territory coverage, and drive performance across a competitive wound care market, with regular weekly overnight travel and a focus on leadership development and sales execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 3+ years medical sales managerial experience.
• Minimum of 5 years medical sales and demonstrated success with complex sales process.
• Proven ability to present key concepts to customers in formal and informal settings.
• Sales trainer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Influence and lead a team of account managers selling in a competitive wound care market.
• Foster collaboration between team members and support teams.
• Ensure proper territory coverage, account penetration and sales time allocation.
• Coach team members on sales skills through weekly field rides.
• Provide resources and mentorship to overcome field obstacles.
• Identify leaders for development opportunities with AVP.
