Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Distribution Manager of Engineering to lead distribution engineering teams and drive regional growth. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, cost-competitive transmission line engineering services while upholding Pickett’s values.

You will oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and change orders, coordinate with clients, and contribute to business development initiatives in your region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required).
• 12+ years of related engineering experience in consulting or electric utility (required).
• Knowledge of project scope, schedule, and budget management.
• Ability to communicate and apply design recommendations.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Collaborative approach with peers or clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop distribution engineering teams.
• Support business development and regional growth.
• Ensure adherence to company values, brand, and code of conduct.
• Provide environment conducive to team growth and development.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
