Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, seeks a Manager of Engineering, Distribution, to lead distribution engineering teams in the region, delivering high-quality, cost-efficient transmission line engineering services.

You will contribute to business development and establish regional strategies, ensuring projects meet schedules and budgets while upholding Pickett’s values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required).
• 12+ years of related engineering experience (preferred).
• Experience in distribution engineering or utility consulting is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop engineering teams
• Support business development activities and grow the business in your region
• Ensure teams uphold Pickett’s values, brand promises, and code of conduct
• Provide a work environment conducive to growth and development
• Provide project oversight: manage scope, schedule, budgets; develop change orders
• Maintain quality and responsiveness to client requirements
• Oversee distribution design activities, QA/QC
• Interact with clients to maintain and develop relationships
