Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Manager of Engineering, Distribution to lead the regional distribution engineering teams and deliver high quality, cost-competitive transmission line engineering services.

You will drive business development in your region, mentor staff, oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, and maintain client relationships while upholding Pickett’s SOLVE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• 12+ years of related engineering experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Understanding of evaluating engineering and design issues.
• Ability to communicate and apply process improvements in the distribution group.
• Ability to work safely and follow safety regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop engineering teams.
• Support business development activities and grow regional business.
• Ensure teams uphold Pickett’s values, brand promises, and code of conduct.
• Provide a work environment conducive to team members' growth and development.
• Provide project oversight, including managing scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Maintain a high level of quality and responsiveness to client requirements.
• Oversee distribution design activities, QA/QC.
• Interact regularly with clients and develop relationships.
