Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is seeking a Manager of Engineering, Distribution, to oversee regional distribution engineering teams and drive high-quality, cost-competitive transmission line engineering services. You will participate in business development and set strategic objectives aligned with the company’s SOLVE values.

Role requires PE licensure, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, and 12+ years of related experience with a proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and budgets while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required).
• 12+ years of related engineering experience, preferably in consulting or electric utility.
• Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative approach when working with peers or clients.
• Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and maintain driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop engineering teams
• Support business development activities and grow the business in your region
• Ensure teams uphold Pickett’s values, brand promises, and code of conduct
• Provide a work environment conducive to team members growth and development
• Provide project oversight, including managing engineering scope, developing change orders, and maintaining schedules and budgets
• Maintain high quality and responsiveness to client requirements in line with Pickett’s standards
• Oversee distribution design activities, quality assurance, and control
• Interact regularly with clients, maintaining current relationships and developing new relationships
