Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an Area Sales Director for the Hugo Robotic-Assisted Surgery program in the United States. You will lead regional commercial strategy, drive revenue growth, and manage a team focused on complex healthcare capital sales.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex healthcare capital equipment sales cycles.
• Experience engaging executives at hospitals/health systems.
• Experience managing regional sales performance and pipeline execution.
• Ability to travel 50-75% within the assigned U.S. region.
• Residency within the assigned U.S. sales region.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional commercial strategy and execution for Hugo RAS platform.
• Direct and develop a team of Capital Sales Specialists.
• Build executive-level relationships with hospital leaders and surgeons.
• Drive opportunity management, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and Market Access teams.
• Develop business cases and total cost of ownership analyses for capital investments.
• Negotiate complex agreements with health systems and medical centers.
• Recruit and retain top commercial talent while ensuring accountability.
