Job summary

Smith & Nephew is seeking a Regional Robotics Director to lead and grow its Robotics business across an assigned U.S. region.

You will oversee Robotics Clinical Specialists and robotics sales teams, drive CORI adoption, and collaborate with surgeons, health systems, and cross-functional teams to accelerate growth. Reporting to senior leadership, you will develop talent, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across the robotic-assisted surgery journey, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in medical device sales, sales leadership, robotics, orthopedics, or related healthcare experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience leading teams or influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to travel extensively within assigned geography.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Robotics Clinical Specialists and robotics sales professionals.
• Drive regional execution of CORI strategic initiatives and commercial objectives.
• Partner with Area Vice Presidents, DOS leaders, and commercial leadership to identify growth opportunities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members through field engagement and performance development.
• Support surgeon conversion strategies, customer retention, and robotic utilization growth.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Education, Finance, and Operations to ensure successful execution of business plans.
• Monitor business performance metrics and implement actions to achieve revenue and utilization targets.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical business standards.
