Intuitive, a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery, seeks a senior medical device sales professional to drive da Vinci System adoption. The role focuses on complex hospital sales, building surgeon and administrator support, and orchestrating installations from the first contact through final deployment.

This position offers base pay plus commission, equity, and opportunities to influence patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years medical device sales experience.
• Knowledge of the operating room environment required.
• Proven track record in capital medical equipment sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% based on accounts.
• Experience introducing new technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complex sales process of da Vinci Surgical Systems into new hospitals and upgrades into existing hospitals
• Build support from surgeons and administration for da Vinci Surgery; drive sales in territory
• Transition initial sale and installation to sales team to drive procedural volume
• Partner with the da Vinci Area Sales Director to develop a sales plan for local territory
• Build surgical advocacy teams at each hospital
• Develop initial contact and relationship with CEO and senior hospital administrators
• Organize and manage the sales process
• Develop knowledge of primary OR procedures
• Make business case for system purchase
• Resolve contractual issues and coordinate system installation upon purchase approval
• Handle all communications and administrative follow-up
