Job summary

FirstService Residential Chicago is seeking a Regional Director who will strategically manage client relationships, deliver key insights, and drive loyalty, profitability, and long-term client retention across our property management portfolio.

You will lead a team of community managers, foster ownership and accountability, and ensure exceptional service by aligning financial and operational goals with client needs. This hybrid role is based at our Chicago corporate office.

Qualifications

• Active Community Association Manager license in Illinois.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in property management or a related field.
• Budgetary knowledge and control for programs within the community.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationship management plans and action plans for high-priority accounts.
• Act as a brand ambassador to communicate the value of products and services.
• Build strong relationships with boards, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Influence financial and operational goals for each client.
• Grow profitability by adding new products/services and managing contracts.
• Attract and retain a diverse team of managers; onboard and develop staff.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching for associates.
• Mentor community managers and enforce professional conduct.
• Ensure compliance with Illinois Condo Act and company policies.
• Maintain service excellence in interactions with residents, vendors, staff, and colleagues.
