Job summary

The Habitat Company seeks a Regional Manager to oversee Community Managers and drive financial performance across assigned properties in the Chicago region. You will guide budgeting, marketing initiatives, and operations to improve occupancy and profitability, while ensuring compliance and strong broker/vendor relations.

Eligible for a performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years hands-on property management experience with a certified property manager or similar designation.
Third party management experience strongly preferred.
Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients.
In-depth experience with business plan execution, financial management, reporting and operations.
Strong leadership, sales and marketing proficiency and a proactive work ethic.
IL Leasing License or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

Supervise on-site Community Managers and staff for multiple communities.
Review budgets, submittals and monitor variances; implement corrective actions.
Develop and execute marketing plans to attract residents and retain occupancy.
Monitor trends in traffic, occupancy, availability and leasing performance.
Communicate with Senior Management with regular updates on operations and issues.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and building codes across regions.
