Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Oncology Regional Director to lead a team of eight Oncology Territory Managers for the Solid Tumor Team. The role oversees two brands, one for mCRC and one for Lung cancer, across the Southeast region including parts of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

The successful candidate must reside in the region. The position emphasizes people leadership, strategy execution, regional training, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, PVA

Responsibilities

• Obtains commitments from Oncology Territory Managers to ensure the sales strategy and plan succeed in the assigned territory.
• Leads development and execution of major programs to meet sales objectives.
• Ensures OTMs conduct business planning, CRM, and tracking of execution metrics.
• Provides regional training and clear communication to keep the team informed and engaged.
• Ensures compliance with laws and regulations concerning interaction with healthcare professionals and dissemination of literature.
• Drives for results by setting goals, managing resources, and achieving regional plans with limited supervision.
• Builds strong partnerships with Marketing, Medical Affairs, PVA and Learning and Development.
• Recruit, manage, train and motivate direct reporting staff in line with company policies.
