Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited is seeking an Oncology Regional Director to lead eight Oncology Territory Managers across the Southeast region, including parts of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. You will drive performance for two brands (mCRC and Lung cancer), build strategic plans, and coordinate cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Medical Affairs, PVA and L&D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry with 3+ years in Oncology
• 3+ years of Oncology sales leadership experience
• Proven ability to manage a specific geographic region
• Candidate should live near a major airport.
• Demonstrated track record of successful business planning and execution
• Documented sales success and strong established relationships in assigned region
• High science aptitude and proven ability to coach teach and train
• Demonstrates growth mindset
• Dynamic, self-starter with strong influential skills, as well as entrepreneurial spirit

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Oncology Territory Managers (OTMs) to execute sales strategies
• Drive regional programs to meet sales objectives
• Oversee business planning, CRM, and performance metrics
• Coordinate regional training and communications for the team
• Ensure compliance with laws governing HCP interactions and literature dissemination
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Medical Affairs, PVA and L&D
• Recruit, manage, train, and motivate staff
• Develop and execute account plans and strategy for large outlets
• Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders at strategic accounts
• Travel 50-60% to perform duties and support the field team
