Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Regional Director, I & I to lead a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers, ensuring a patient-first access experience from enrollment through therapy initiation.

The role drives payer policy navigation, HCP education, and cross-functional coordination with Brand, Market Access, and Legal/Compliance to optimize patient access at scale. Extensive leadership and reimbursement expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical field operations, patient services, reimbursement, or access/hub management.
• Minimum 3–5+ years of people management experience leading field-based teams.
• Direct experience with specialty pharmacy, hub programs, or patient support services in a regulated environment.
• Strong working knowledge of access and reimbursement landscape including benefits investigation, prior authorization, step edits, appeals, payer policy, coverage pathways, and insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs) and supervise regional FRMs’ day-to-day guidance.
• Oversee FRM execution in patient needs assessments, reimbursement navigation, HCP education, and hub enrollment support.
• Set performance expectations aligned to KPIs such as enrollment completion and timely therapy initiation.
• Conduct regular field rides, coaching, and performance reviews; lead hiring and onboarding.
• Ensure FRM activities comply with Pfizer mission, compliance standards, and approved role scope.
• Manage regional budget including headcount, travel, and program resources.
