Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Regional Director, I&I to lead a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers and hub operations, guiding patient access strategies, enrollment, and reimbursement excellence. The role emphasizes strategic oversight, compliance, and performance management across multiple accounts and payer landscapes.

You will manage FRM teams, coach on enrollment workflows, collaborate with Brand and Market Access, and ensure timely therapy initiation while driving region-wide access

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD) preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical field operations, patient services, reimbursement, or access/hub management
• Minimum 3–5+ years of people management experience leading field-based access, reimbursement, patient services, hub-facing, or customer-facing teams
• Direct experience with specialty pharmacy, hub programs, or patient support services in a regulated environment
• Strong working knowledge of the access and reimbursement landscape, including benefits investigation, prior authorization, step edits, appeals, payer policy, coverage pathways, specialty pharmacy fulfillment, and insurance coverage processes
• Working knowledge of medical and pharmacy billing including CPT, HCPCS/J-codes, ICD-10, NDC, Medicare Part B buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy processes, and payer-specific coverage criteria relevant to INI/specialty products
• Proven ability to build reimbursement subject matter expertise across a team and translate payer policy, patient access data, and field insights into regional action plans
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large geographic territory and travel 50–60% of the time
• Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs) and oversee field-based access leaders and hub enrollment support
• Coach FRMs on end-to-end patient journey leadership, enrollment, therapy initiation, and payer communications
• Provide oversight for reimbursement policy translation, training, and education for FRMs and HCP staff
• Lead cross-functional coordination across Brand, National Access & Reimbursement, Market Access and Legal/Compliance
• Track regional performance metrics and surface insights to inform strategy and improvements
• Manage regional budget, headcount planning, travel spend, and program resources within national guidelines
• Lead standardization of compliant HCP and office staff education on reimbursement processes and benefits
• Ensure compliance with Pfizer's mission and approved role scope and drive patient-centric access strategies
• Travel 50–60% of the time within the assigned region and reside near the designated region
