Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Regional Director, I & I Access and Reimbursement to lead a regional team of Field Reimbursement Managers. This role designs strategy, drives payer policies, and ensures compliant execution across accounts, education, and hub operations to remove barriers and improve patient access to therapies.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in pharmaceutical field operations, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of reimbursement processes. Travel 50–60% within the region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical field operations, patient services, reimbursement, or access/hub management.
• Minimum 3–5+ years of people management experience.
• Direct experience with specialty pharmacy, hub programs, or patient support services in a regulated environment.
• Strong working knowledge of the access and reimbursement landscape including benefits investigation, prior authorization, step edits, appeals, coding, claims processes, medical and pharmacy benefits.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of regional FRMs and performance management.
• Lead patient access strategy and enrollment processes.
• Develop reimbursement expertise across payer landscape.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure compliant execution.
• Track regional performance metrics and insights and translate into recommendations.
